| | Gateway to the Garden Route |
| Knysna | Own House and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, windy walk on the beach, nice shopping area on the coast |
| | Jumping dolphins from the beach |
| Oudtshoorn | ostrich farm, Ostrich babies, Ina's first and last Strauss ride (the way the Zaehmungsmethode seemed very questionable), red savannah, incomprehensible distance, blue mountains on the horizon |
| Matjiesfontein | English Province village, traditional pub altbritischer acts out of place, max. 200 inhabitants, 4-minute sightseeing tour - we had seen everything |
| Robertson | Right in the wine country, visiting a proud wine farm, it was by tasting of water as we paid for the view |
| Paarl | |
| Franschhoeck | cute little town with French flair, all chic and soooo many boutiques, cafes, chocolate, ... which is also reflected in the prices, but our top favorite of the visited cities |
