Review of 'Star converter "by Tracy Buchanan

"I turned to the horse and rubbed my eyes Its outline seemed to shimmer -.? Was due to the adhesive but then it became increasingly clear the shimmering like a million twinkling stars."
sechzenhnten your birthday Tori Hamilton has presented quite differently. First they fled in the middle of the night from their homes to escape the violent escapades there and then she gets even more violent to a group of young people. But then she is rescued by a horse, which is transformed before their eyes into a beautiful boy. It's Cam Chase, and since that moment happened to Tori. But Cam hides a secret: He is a shape-shifter and is committed to his twin brother Seth out of the clutches of Altus, a company that is responsible for his genetic defect to free ...
With "Star converter" Tracy Buchanan has created a debut novel, which I unfortunately could not convince. Although the story sounded very promising, I had to fight with this very book. Fast Acting showed that here again the same principle has always applied: A nondescript, pretty girl falls for a beautiful boy who hides a secret. Since there are thousands of books on the market out there that have the same content, I was easily bored. As Tori and Cam finally came together was the story in my eyes even better, as their constant quarrels me sometime just only went to the nerves. I also think the back story with Altus and the Abeostaub seemed somehow constructed, which is why I felt it right to the end as inappropriate. The end was open, and suggests that Tracy Buchanan is a serial novel.

Conclusion: From me, there are three good heart, because me, the story of Tori and Cam could not able to convince. If you like romantic books with a touch of fantasy reading will probably love this book.

My heartfelt thanks go to the PIPER-Verlag who presented with this book is available.

Rätsch (Ed.) - nature worship and healing

I happen to be on the internet about this book in 1993, struck, in which various articles about - in the broadest sense - nature worship and the healing arts can be found. Some of the authors were already known to me in advance - Storl, Müller-Ebeling, Rätsch, Albert Hofmann.

(Hofmann way, I have even seen them live, 1996 at a panel discussion on "what is an expansion of consciousness.")

The articles were achieved in a kind of symposium "New Slayer" and pretentious accordingly are also one or two texts come where I think boring old woman, UIH, however someone has a bit too deep in the ethnobotanical used tricks to lighten his spirit. Other products however, are very interesting, diverse, often in person.

for myself it was quite exciting that this book appeared in my high school time, actually a bit of my development in this area reflects, from wahnsinnstrunkenem noise of more serious interest in ethnobotany towards more of a religious or shamanic approach to "the other ".

reading value!
